BFBC2 patch download for ps3

Hi, i bought Battlefield Bad Company 2 for ps3. to play online i need the udate 1.05 whciht is 1,7 gb. too much for my slow ps3 connection! so i want to download the update by pc. therefore i installed "ps3 game updater" from this site. here comes my Question: In the Program there is a box where to type in the Game Directory?! how do i find it? i mean, bfbc2 is not installed on my pc, its installed on my ps3. so how can i find it on my pc?!?

OK i did it now by BLES Number, found the game.
BUT: it only shows one update which is 1.20, which is 250 MB whats that? i need 1.05 which is 1.7gb big?
any help?

i guess your PS3 isnt jailbroken right?

the PS3 Game Updater is afaik only for Backups.

PS3 Game Updater won't help that much since you cant install pkg-files/add files to the game on your PS3

yea you just need a router or something else that indirectly connects your PS3 to your PC, (a PC), PSN DM and another Download Manager[optional]

hi ok thx, i will try this as soon as im at home. can i download the update somehow without my ps3 and put it on there with an usb stick?
ps: what is psn dm?

you cant install the update without a PC and a PS3, because you need the proxy from PSN DM (=PSN Download manager) to transfer/install the PKGs to your PS3
you could download the PKG somewhere else and then put it on your PC and then install it via PSN DM but you would need to "grab" the PKG/the downlaodlink from the PSN with PSN DM or find the original downloadlink
