Anyway I can get Active 2 working with FW 3.41?
Anyway I can get Active 2 working with FW 3.41? –

My wife came home with Active 2 today and wanted to start working out. The problem is I have all my games backed up and use Open Manager to run them, hence I am stuck on FW 3.41.
I guess I could upgrade to 3.5 so she can work out and then when I want to play games I could downgrade but that seems like a complete PITA to have to do everytime.
I really don't want to give up the luxury of being able to play games off my drive.
I just looked into decrypting EBOOT files but I am not sure if this would work for Active 2.
What do you guys think?
I am all for letting my wife use my PS3 to loose a few pounds and get buff but it sure does seem like I am gonna have to give up running games from open manager.

Yor about stuck for now. Its a really difficult spot for the PS3 scene, everything is about to jump out and unlock everything but it's a waiting game. Very soon 3.55 will be jailbroken so if you can give up playing your 3.41 back ups for say 1-4 weeks, upgrade and let her work herself back to her college weight (haha jokes, no offense to your beautiful wife).
Or maybe will decrypt it soon, i'm not too sure. But every ones focused on getting 3.55 signed and working for the moment, so decrypting could be a while. So options are:
A) Play your back ups, sleep on the couch.
B) sacrifice back ups for a month, happy wife therefore happy life.

I know it's just a matter of time before things start poppin' with the 3.55 FW so I guess I'll take your advice and just upgrade.
If mommy ain't happy, no one is happy.
Thanks for the advice Damanptyltd.
