anyone no about returning ps3

well i was thinking about claiming my warrenty on my ps3 as the disk drive is making some noise off it and the fact that i feked the harddrive but i dont want to send it back if my ps3 will come back with 3.60 firmware anyone no if that would happen ?

just got the ps3 at xmas time ...

Yeah.... I think they will upgrade the firmware.... but if they let you send them just the HDD then its safe..
not 100% sure but i have few complaining about it.

think i will leave it mibbie send it back if the disk drive stops working ...

just a noise ******* from it when theres a bd disk in but when i move it it goes away

my Slim makes weird noises too and a friend of mine has the same "problem"
