another psn update?? need help

so im on kmeaw 3.55 cfw was playing online cod black ops which i purchased now all of a sudden my ps3 freezes and i cant log in psn because it says it needs a update, ive already done the dns trick and was working fine all day so can anyone help me solve this problem because i would like to stay on 3.55 cfw and still get online

anyone else had this problem

custom dsn was working fine now it says i need a update???

DNS trick was bocked by $ony about a half hour ago. Until another work around is found your offline. I saw an alternate dns method, you could try it and post your results...

I'm also curious if users with 3.56 are blocked from the dns trick too. With remote code execution in 3.56, it could have just knocked offline the users that didn't have remote code execution, which would have been anyone under 3.56, and could be considered more of a temp ban than just blocking the dns method.

they patched it as of 5 oclock today

Which is only useful if we know what timezone you live in, LOL. I think it was around 7pm EST, though it doesn't really matter. It's patched, the method I thought might work above doesn't (confirmed with the OP of that thread), and now we're all waiting to find out 2 things...
1. When will 3.56 cfw or another workaround be released.
2. The one I want to know, did they block the dns trick itself or only ps3s without remote code execution.
