hey guys i have been using a 640gb western digital in my phat 40gb with keamw cfw 3.55.
i have recently took this hard drive out and put the 40gb hdd back in so the ps3 is standard. had no problems installing original 3.55 update.

my problem lies with the 640gb hdd. i took the standard 250gb out of my ps3 slim, and proceeded to put the 640gb freshly formatted in to my slim and applied the latest updates been 3.56,3.55,3.6 and everytime just get an error code 800*** or something similar tried no end of times but it wont have it.
i put my old 250gb which was on 3.56 back in and applied the 3.60 update no problem hence trying the exact update off the same usb pen to the 640gb hard drive. can someone offer a solution to this.

tried the 640gb formatted with fat 32, ntfs,and raw. getting well pissed off
