    Probably won't be released by a scene group but it will most likely end up on file sharing programs or torrents. Time will tell.

    95% compatability, that would be sweet! The progressive scan DVD player is pretty cool too.

    If it works as advertised and is compatible with FFXII then I'm going to be over the moon!

    Imagine playing FFXII in 16:9 at 480p or 720p

    gameplay.co.uk have the release date listed as 06 October 2006. Its not official though.

    Its messed up becuase its going to squish everything when you try 720p or 1080i. Unless the game has a wisescreen option. then it'll look tits! i've seen a handfull of games that have a widescreen option, but no prog scan.

    imagine okami!

    God of war in 720p??? wow.

    FFXII US version does have a widescreen 16:9 option.
