xbox->PS2 controller convertor

i've ordered a ps2 last week. i have played with it's controller. I have an xbox and prefer to use an xbox controller on my ps2.
does anybody know of such a device

if such a device doesn't exist which controller for the ps2 closest resembles the xbox controller

they have the converter to use the PS2 controller on the XboX cuz the XboX controller sucks.. Probably why no one has made a converter to use the XboX controller on the PS2..

that's absolutely not what i asked for. i would like to use my xbox controller on the ps2 coz i think the controller that is standard is too small with sticks i didn't like at all to use. i'm sure there are lots of people who think otherwise, but hey they i've got a weird taste for things so what.
so please try to give some useful info on my initial question.

i would prefer to use a converter xbox->ps2 so i don't have to buy an extra controller(unless the extra controller is cheaper)

i'm not sure why you would reply to this thread with a totally opposite answer to what i asked for.

yeah and everybody in the world solely uses the standard ps2 controller, man that's just lame.
still nobody that can name good alternatives to the standard ps2 controller?

What is your problem, guys? If you don't have anything useful to say, then don't post anything. I did see a thread similar to this on another messageboard but there was no solution to it either. I don't think that there is a converter.

The demand is not high enough for there to be a product that you are looking for. Most xbox owners even admit that its controllers suck.

i must say that for Racing and FPS the Xbox Controller is far better, also i think its more confortable at least in my hands(s type), but for fighting games and side scrollers and that stuf the PS2 controller is better, for RPG its the same, you dont need fast response or better grip, only problem that xbox doesnt have many rpg. So for me its a close tie, i would be awesome to play GT3 using the xbox controller, pulling the gas using the analog triggers intead of the x button, tha same way i love to play cap vs snk 2 on live using the PS2 Controller

I got great news. I have absolutely no opinion on the subject since I have never picked up an xbox controller in my life, but I would like to say that I just saved a whole bunch of money on my car insurance by switching to geico.
