I have an American PS2 and I'm planning to buy a network adapter from the US, but I want to know if it will work here in Europe, Sweden to be exact.
I don't really see why it wouldn't work, but just to make sure you know.

It'll work fine. The Network adapters are not region locked and can be used anywhere in the world.
Great, thanks a lot! It'll be much cheaper for me to import one than to buy one over here.
It would probably work almost everywhere in Europe apart from Britain.
I used to have a Dreamcast BBA, and it took a lot of work to get it function through the UK system.
why? how much are they there? $40 US vs. ???Quote:

Yeah cost 40$ on ONOFF and SIBA here in Sweden.. But your PS2 must be chipped, cuz the disc is PAL and you wont be able to play that without a modchip.
nah, most if not all online games have a network setup feature.
Hmm yes but incase he want to go to centralstation or something...
