    I have a duo 2 and when the fan isnt on it works perfect but when i connet the fan there is no videoand the drive acts funny??

    Did you make sure to electric tape the chip so it won't touch the metal casing? Check for solder balls or bridges on the board. Look carefully and slowly at every area on the board. If all fails, try to clean up and start all over.
