O.K, in a previous post someone asked if they could play an xbox game on a ps2. Most of us know that is not possible, even though emulating an xbox on a ps2 is THEORETICALLY possible.

RIGHT?

But instead of an answer the man was attacked and insulted. I asked if this was the right thing to do and then I got attacked. Severel replys came in but the question was still not answered.

The question was did people have the right to call the man a idiot for asking a nieve but possible situation. Like I said, in the persuit of knowledege their is no such thing as a stupid questions.

I asked them if they would say this to their face, and of course I only got more barbs and insults.

Even if it wasn't theoretically possible, they had no right to gang up on them on do that.

What is it with message boards and the need to gang up and attack people for no good reason. Is it the fact that some people are losers (can't get laid, gets pushed around) and so they can finally vent on innocent people without the threat of getting their ass kicked.

PLEASE answer my questions don't ignore them. Does someone without knowledge (technical or otherwise deserve to be treated that way. There are many things that each of us are good in and not good in. Do you deserve to be called an idot for your lack of knowledge. By some of your logic then yes, you (and all of us) deserve to be insulted.

To make it worse, they offenders got to rant all the while NEVER even coming close to answereing my questions, only petty insults the thread got closed with a nasty reply ending it.

How could any one with any sort of decency feel justified in closing the thread and letting the assholes have the last word.

I guess there are plenty of ugly, social misfits who can't get a (decent), etc... Remember the accepted theory of rudeness, (especially when anonymous) is insecurity.

Can someone do what is right and please answer me. Can you answer my questions in good conscience? No, that is why they weren't answered in the first place. People will dance around that and refuse to answer because it prooves their assholes. I imagine that I'm either going to get censored or people will answer my questions with insults and anger, not logic because it don't exist with some

You want to know if its possible to play xbox games on your PS2?

YES it is possible, but not practical. You would need to have an xbox emulator running on the PS2, it would have to utilise a HDD connected to the PS2 for swap space (the PS2 doesnt have enough ram on its own for the emulation). You would probably get about 1fps max.

This is all assuming that there was a decent xbox emulator out there which could be ported to the PS2, OR that somebody would for some reason write a xbox emulator from scratch for the PS2.

I have stated my question NUMEROUS times and only want the people involved to own up.

Anyways, the person is probaly new, and asked a simple question...No use in talking shit really. Most people would probaly know you can't emulate like that...Cannot even emulate the DC on ps2/ XBox....
Anyways though...I didn't see the thread, but they could have simply said "No, it's not possible" but some people are as you said...jerks.
