Are there any sites that sell the DMS3 + clip kit (or just the clip kit), preferably in europe? I can only find Magic 3.1 and 3.6 clip kits and DMS3 chips by themselves. Can anyone help?

Don't bother with the Clip Kits...you'll end up overheating your PS2 eventually. Just stick with a good steady hand.

the clips hug the bios and don't let the heat escape..some have used some thermal tape and other thermal products and have found better results with the overheating issue

what if thermal transfer compound was put between the clip and the BIOS chip (like for a processor fan) so the clip would act like a heatsink? Or possibly install an extra fan to blow air over it?

In the end...if you need to change the chip...you'll be screwed.....not worth investing the extra money for a little extra time for the other points.
