I have not pirated anything and do not necessarily intend to pirate anything. As it happens I have a friend who owns a copy of the international version who I will borrow from but at the end of the day, I shouldnt have to go into so much detail of my personal life just because of the chance you may think I am pirating something.
I didnt want to waste your time, and I certainly didnt want to be diliberatly shunned out like that.
You could have gone about it differently.

There has been a recent project where if you own an ISO of both versions, a patch can be applied to produce a translated version of the japaneese-only one. However, my PS2 will not play the resulting DVD because it is a burnt disc.
Nothing has been pirated, I just need to be able to boot this new game.

I've explained this.
Look, i'm going to asume you're just too proud to re-open the thread despite the fact you were wrong. If thats the case, just tell me now and I can stop wasting my time.
If, however, you want a discussion about this at least show me you have taken in the above quote.

and I've already explained on that quote. you don't own that game, so you copy it and return the original. you then have a pirated copy. silly dumbass. no-original-owning-copies are for pirates.

1. I am not currently a pirate, I do not intend to be one, either. Therefore you had no grounds to close the thread.
2. By the time I give back the japaneese game (if I ever need to) all I will own is an English version of it. This will not be a copy. Therefore I am not a pirate.
Also, I'd like you to quote the part of the rules which say the site ''does not support pirates''.

and you deluded son of a bitch. you think that if you own a burned copy, you think you legally own it. wrong wrong wrong. contact sony and see if it's legal. they will laugh at you.

Please review my entire previous post because you havent adressed any of the points.
I'm not arguing that you can close the thread whenever you like, I understand that.
What i'm asking for is a justification for it, and asking you to re-open it due to its unfair closing.

You have nothing to say to my points because you are in the wrong, aren't you?

lmao looks like grounds for a ban to me we don't need someone who thinks bowrrowing a copy of a game off a "friend" copying it then giving it back not beliving he's pirated anything har har!
good read tho.
-

yeah, amazing that he went from download it to 'borrow' it.

OMG!!

Is that guy that stupid?!! How can anyone justify that after all is said and done they still dont own the original of the copied game.....what part of that didnt the fool get?
If your still lurking around..its real plain and simple to understand:
If you are in possesion of a copy of a copyrighted game, you MUST be the owner of the original as well. If you borrow it, then you dont have any rights to make a legal copy. If your friend only lets you borrow it to make a copy, he too is pirating. Distrubution of a copy is piracy and there is no legal ground that allows it without a license from Sony.
Making a copy from any source you dont own the original IS PIRATING!!!! You friend can make and keep a copy for himself, but he cant legally give it away.

Sony representative, if you see this, I will be happy to hand over tauntedflail's IP information. You will need to send me a personal message through this forum.
Personally, I'm getting tired of pirates thinking that this site supports it.
