Man that was just cheap. Look i'm sorry if i'm new and you dont particularly want to help out but that was completely uncalled for.
I have not pirated anything and do not necessarily intend to pirate anything. As it happens I have a friend who owns a copy of the international version who I will borrow from but at the end of the day, I shouldnt have to go into so much detail of my personal life just because of the chance you may think I am pirating something.

I didnt want to waste your time, and I certainly didnt want to be diliberatly shunned out like that.
You could have gone about it differently.

You don't own the game. if you have a copy of the game and it's not original and you don't own the original, its pirated. read the law on it.

You dont understand my situation. I own the PAL version of final fantasy 12 which is original. In japan a new version was released with extras but it was never released outside of their borders or translated.
There has been a recent project where if you own an ISO of both versions, a patch can be applied to produce a translated version of the japaneese-only one. However, my PS2 will not play the resulting DVD because it is a burnt disc.

Nothing has been pirated, I just need to be able to boot this new game.

the same still applies, if you don't own the japan version of ffxii zjs, then it is pirated, and it isn not allowed. are blind or stupid to the rules here?

You dont have to be patronising. I'll explain two good reasons why yuour point is moot.

1. I am not currently a pirate, I do not intend to be one, either. Therefore you had no grounds to close the thread.
2. By the time I give back the japaneese game (if I ever need to) all I will own is an English version of it. This will not be a copy. Therefore I am not a pirate.

Also, I'd like you to quote the part of the rules which say the site ''does not support pirates''.

If your still lurking around..its real plain and simple to understand:

If you are in possesion of a copy of a copyrighted game, you MUST be the owner of the original as well. If you borrow it, then you dont have any rights to make a legal copy. If your friend only lets you borrow it to make a copy, he too is pirating. Distrubution of a copy is piracy and there is no legal ground that allows it without a license from Sony.

Making a copy from any source you dont own the original IS PIRATING!!!! You friend can make and keep a copy for himself, but he cant legally give it away.
