What the hell is it with EA? Seems like the only games that come out (at least online) are all from EA! It used to be before that all you ever seen them make was all the sports game...NOW there making everything!
LOTR, NFS, Tiger Woods, Madden, NBA,SSX3, etc.
I've been playing lots of games lately and seems like I see that ANNOYING "EA Games" logo as much as I see the PS2 logo.

well, they are the largest games publisher on the planet, you'd expect them to have a rather large output of games .

Shame they lost the 2015 team though (they're Infinty Ward now, with Activision. they made Call of Duty for the PC recently), i hear the new MOH sucks balls.

Funny how four of the six you listed are sports games....five if you count car racing as a sport.

    I haven't really noticed a change, though...EA's always made a lot of games...you just weren't paying attention, I guess. ;-)

EA has always made tons of games.

besides, socom 2 and tony hawk underground are recent releases not published by EA, there's plenty of other games as well.

Look at the list of online games, and look how many are EA titles. I could have named more...Even older titles like The SIMS...Definitely not sports is EA. LOTR is fighting. I hardly considering snowboarding off the mountain as a legitimate sport...Like calling hunting a real sport. I'll go look and name some more games...BUT it just seems to me that all the games i'm seeing lately are EA...even though as Nu Child said there the largest publishers in the planet...seems like all they made b4 was sports.

    Harry Potter
    Freedom Fighters
    Medal of Honor Rising Sun
are some more later games from EA.

I think I know why it seems like they keep making shit...I play most of those games, and that ANNOYING logo..."EA GAMES! Challenge Everything!" Maybe I just tired of hearing it...

sports titles obviously occupy a huge chunk of the available online games. and EA is one of the largest publishers of sports titles, it'sonly natural that they have a large segment on online ps2 games to themselves. then there's the fact that they publish so many games without making them, so their logos still end up all over the place.

if you eliminate sports titles from the list, then label every game with an ea logo on it that wasn't produced by ea but rather the actual developer, it isnt quite as large as you think it is. while they have a large share of the ps2 online game market, they dont actually make all of those games, and it's been that way for quite a while now.

Yea, I really didn't think they made all those damn games. I went to EA's website, and there really isn't that many games that they have for ps2 (decent amount), but it's mainly the more popular titles.
