    My question's pretty straight foward. I just want to know the latest version of PS2 BIOS as of 2011. Any info regarding this topic would be greatly appreciated.

    Afaik, it is BIOS 2.50, but what the heck...?
    What should this be useful for?

    That's hard to say. But a more interesting question in this context is whether or not anyone has seen BIOS v2.50 in a normal PSTwo console or not.

    I have only heard of it in that TV+PSTwo hybrid unit "Sony KDL22PX300" (and possibly variants of that design).

    So it would be quite interesting to know both if normal PS2 units are still made (like they were earlier this year), and whether they then also use bios v2.50 or still use bios v2.30 ???

    I saw a torrent that had 2.50.2.. but it may not be real. I don't know.
