About LinkBacksI got a ps2 from someone and its only a few weeks old BUT its not in its origional housing so I cant just look at the number on the back and go from there, is there any way to tell from the hardware inside? I dont know how long ago they changed the ps2 layout but i know on ver4 the standby and eject buttons were on the lid on this they are on the dvd drive. anything to go by would be great

There's a model number on the PS2 motherboard that could help us identify the PS2 version. It's on the right side of the motherboard. Look for GH-0XX. (X is a digit.) Read us the GH-0XX and we should be able to tell you which PS2 it is.

and should I wait to find out what version I have before I pickup an ARMax and a PSX game to do the MC exploit?
