What do you charge for an install and how many do you do in a month?

What's your price to install say a $10 magic 3 clone? What about a dms3 (or whatever it's called). Plus, how many installs do you do in a month?

Why do you ask me why I ask? I already have doing modchips pretty much full time and was just wondering how it is for others. That's all.

I do it more on the side but this time of year closer to christmas and our school holidays - things take off and one does get run off ones feet...

I work full time + study + have house and wife and soon a kid + do PS2's etc so when it gets busy - I have zero time to myself...

Prolly why I don't get to actually play games anymore...

But I am going to need the money come Mid november... well actually already as the wife has retired in preparation for the kid - so supporting 3 people on one income is going to suck!

I used to work in an import games store part-time, so at that point, I was fitting them almost every day.

Now it's just the occasional favour for a friend or singular job to pay for my lifestyle and tuition.

Funny thing has happened since I responded to this thread...

I have sold around 230 Apple Pros across 4 customers, 1 Apple X Pro, 2 Messiah2.

Installed 1 Messiah2, and 3 Apple Pro's...

And this was only in the last two days...

But this is not normal - and profit was low on the big sales as at that quantity I sell almost at cost... to nice for my own good!

but still - will be interesting to see what happens closer to Christmas this year round
