what do I have to do to use codebreaker v10.elf properly?
hi, I found the codebreaker but I can't understand exactly what I have to do to make it work with esr patched backups, having already installed fmcb.
which files do I have to put on the usb stick? which ones on the memory card? do I have to reinstall fmcb in order to use codebreaker? what program do I have to use to patch the codebreaker elf so it loads ulaunchelf (with which I can launch esr)? (is it possible to make it so it launchs esr directly?)
I didn't find clear answers to these questions anywhere with google.
edit: ok, I found this really useful thread: forums(dot)sksapps(dot)com/archive/index.p h p?t-8364(dot)html
I got codebreaker to work, but there's another problem: are all the cheats for the US versions of the games? 'cause I tried to activate one on "prince of persia: warrior within" and it didn't work.
also, how can I do so that freemcboot shows "codebreaker v10" in the list, in the system browser? do I have to reinstall it?
re-edit: waaait, I keep finding the solutions by myself, asd.
I found out how to put the pal codes on codebreaker. good. I also found the CB_loader elf that boots fmcb.
the last question remains, though. I'll try to delete some saves (I backed up them) to make codebreaker fit into the memory card and see if it appears in the browser's menu.
third edit: codebreaker can't see the .cbc files. it shows the usb stick as empty.
anyone knows why?
I read somewhere it is related to the v10 version. should I use the 9.3? (which is the best after the v10?)
fourth edit: I tried with the 9.3 version but it doesn't see the cbc files, too...
fifth edit: I used the 9.22 version and it worked. now I think I will leave it on the usb stick, since I read somewhere that it is faster (and the 9.22 is already slower than the 9.3 and 10).
I tried the same code as before on prince of persia warrior within (yes, I selected the activator, too) but it didn't work. I hope it is because it is for some reason of a different version than mine and it's not a problem related to codebreaker itself...
