I have a v3 with a messiah1, and don't use ps2 online, and use all backups off DVD-R's made on a pioneer DVR-104. Is DNAS and/or multi-elf games something that will give my setup trouble? I haven't got any recent games (newest are primal, GTA:VC). Could someone provide quick explanation of what DNAS / multi-elf means/does?

dont know about multi-elf but dnas is used on newer online games. it checks the machine for a chip it also checks for an original disc. and basically if you want to play online you need a newer chip that you can turn off and an original copy of the online game. if you dont care about online gaming stick with what youve got the dnas wont affect offline gaming.

    my 2 cents
