I'm thinking of buying used PS2,any tips for what I should check to make sure it works 100%
Buy it from a used dealer that gives you say, a 90 day warrantee. Make sure the void if removed sticker is intact. Take it home and try every media (i.e. ps1 disc, ps2 cd and dvd disc). And try to look for a version 5, cause they (supposedly?) have the best laser...
void
well try it out before u buy it if u can look if the seal is tampered it if it has like bunny ears avoid
I wouldn't mind buying a used ps2 and finding out it already had a messiah in it![]()
an open seal would be a good thing!
sure but if u're buying an unmodded ps2
well...sometimes you can go to the pawn shop, or a used store (whatever)...and find a ps2, i'd recommend playing it for a little bit, some lasers take a few minutes to act up, some don't work at all....i'd really recommend going to a store that offers a warranty on the purchase.. but if you can't then try to get a ps2 with a date code after 1C, 1D's and up are v5-v7 (EX. 1d,2a,2b,2c, etc.) that will give you an idea of how old it is....
yup
