Hi. I have a v10 (no chip) and when I use the S-Video part of my video cable, the picture flips in a diagonal sort of way. Up and to the right. The colors are also a bit off. I originally thought it may be the cable I had, since I had previously fried a bit of the cable and repaired it, so I bought another one. I also thought it may be my video card in the computer (I use an ATI All-In-Wonder), so I tried hooking it up through my vcr which also has an s-video input. Same thing though. If the screen is very simple, like a word or 2 on a black background, the screen doesn't flip but the colors are messed up. I thought maybe it's macrovision, but then it would happen when I use the standard video cable, right? If anyone can help, let me know. Thanks!

Connect your PS2 DIRECTLY to TV, the problem can be the PS2.

I do, but my tv only has composite ins on it, no S-Video. Areyou thinking that it is Macrovision? I should mention that I've used a v5, v7 and a v9 on my computer's s-video in with no problems. Does the v10 have built in macrovision on the s-video out?

The problem must be the PS2, try to get a TV with S-video IN and test on it.

Ok. I think my friend's tv has s-video in and I'll be going there tomorrow. I'll let you know what happens.
