    I have a ver 7 ps2, dms3 installed.
Vibration worked fine before with dms3 installed, just started playing lately after not playing for awhile and i noticed it doesnt respond.

Tried a bunch of games. 2 different controllers. Checked controlers they appear good. Disassembled ps2 to look at the game port, connection appears fine.

Looking for advice on where to look for a possible solution?

I did use excessive force on a memory card that had trouble making contact. Generic memory card, that if held at an upward angle would work. Got rid of card and purchased original ps2 card and no probs.

Point being not that card didnt work, that I used excessive force, is it possible I may have damaged somehow the controller connection?

    Any input please.

blow fuse? wow didnt think of that precisionmods.

Any way to find out which one, or at the very least narrow it down to what area to look at.

    Thanks alot by the way.

I just got done installing a DUO modchip the other day and my vibration isn't working either. I think it has something to do with that flimsy cable that connects the controller and memory card ports. At first my memory cards were not working either until I adjusted the cable. I think it's a problem with the cables metal connectors not getting the connection they need. I'm going to play around with it today and see if I can get it to work, but I'm almost positive that were the problem is coming from.

Ok, I cannot recall the PS location, but the fuse is located near the fan connector. Check all the fuses in that area for a blown one. They are marked 30, 50, sometimes S7, S2. Good luck.

That's the fuse value, but do you remember exactly which PS location it was?

I a picture (by Charlie_ps2) to find it, someone told me it was the PS7 fuse, I soldered a jumper wire from one side of the fuse to the other and now my controllers vibrate just like they should. I didn't realize how much I missed it untill I had it back.

I think Charlie_PS2 also posted a picture of the V7 board with the fuses pointed out. I'll see if I can find the thread.

    EDIT: here's the thread http://www.ps2newz.net/forums/showth...&threadid=4430
