 Who can tell me where is an alternative soldering point for the H-Coded wire on a V5/V6 mobo using the M2-pro modchip.
While backing out it came to my attention that I have lost my H-pad.

follow the thin track from where the pad was - you should find an alternative connection point. at work at the moment so can't help more than that...
Well that is a small problem cause it runs under the chip and there is where I lost track.
its not as simple as just finding another point there is no other connection to the point under the cd/dvd controller i have a version 5 board spare il strip it down and do a diagram fix guide if its possible to fix.

Well guys, I hope somebody knows another via or any point to pick up that H-pad. Iam depending on your expertise.

sounds like there isn't one and if you have pulled the entire track away with the pad... you are really going to need luck on your side to get out of this one.
The H pad has two tracks leading to it - one coming from some where else on the board which you could find and connect to easy enough - but the other goes under the chip - if this track has been pulled off completely back to the chip you can pretty much say good by to it! and possibly the station as well.
Okay, one track I can see and follow it to somewhere on the board and where I can pick up my connection for the H-coded pin, but the other track going under the chip has to be connected as well so this mean I can forget this MoBo. I only lost the H-coded pad so I will try to reconnect the tracks together. Wish me luck guys
They are very thin and not much shows between the pad and the track dissapearing under the chip - so be VERY careful - but it should be possible - just don't scrape to hard to expose the track.
I previously thought you meant that the track had also been pulled away not just the pad. with skill more so than luck you should do fine! ;)
