I've been looking for a thread that would help me figure out which version PS2 I have, but without much luck. It's from the first shipment to the US, so I'm sure it's a lower version. Could anyone point me in the right direction?

Also, if I were to buy a Crystal Chip 2.0, is there some sort of visual guide to help me install it? I would send it off to someone professional, but I'd like to do it myself for the experience, especially since alot of my friends look to me for advice on the subject as well.

    Thanks in advance.

Thanks Tixet, that narrows it down a bit, now I know that it's either a v1,v2, or v3. I doesn't seem to go into detail on how to tell the difference past that...

    It's a SCPH-30001, with 10 screws on the bottem.
