Version 9 ???

I just recently got a version 9 ps2.

My first problem is that I tried putting an old ps2(v5 or 6 I think) case that I had custom painted on it and I cannot get the top cover to fit on it. Is it different in size? If so where can I get a version 9 case?

Next, is it possible to put a messiah 2 v.1.22 in a version 9?

I searched for a while but could not find my answers so any help would be appriciated.

u need to shave down the part where the reset/eject unit goes m2 1.22 won't go in v9

also u want to switch where the sticker by the usb ports with the sticker on teh v9 case

It's total common sense. Just make the bottom side look exactly like original one. DUHH!!
