v9 problem after applying romeo mod

Hello.

well.. i broke the pin after doing the romeo mod.. so i replaced the whole LA chip... but now when i turn on ps2 i noticed that the tray is closing sometimes wierd. when i press eject to close it, it wait 1-2 secs and then fastley closes.

second problem is that the ps2 wont read DVDR and also sometimes not even a CDR

i measured the coils and they both give me 6 ohm so i guess ps2 len isnt fried.

also fuse is ok, i tried checked if one of the legs is loose... but didnt c one, or maybe i donno how to check it better.

BTW: ps2 now is without romeo mod and have a new LA chip

sounds like the LA isn't fitted properly. did u check that all the legs are making proper contact.
