Had a console in for repair, v9 with obvious laser/LA failure.

Replaced both the LA chip and laser and did the Romeo fix afterwards but its no better than when I started. Any ideas what else could be wrong?

Fuses are fine. Its just not reading discs, making usual dead LA/laser noise.
