V9(5004) and messiah 2 v1.31 problem

I just fitted two V9 consoles with the messiah2 v1.31

And i have a big problem
the ps2 dvd games (all including dvd-r and dvd silvers) doesnt boot correctly the only way i can get them to boot (only about 3 in every 10 times) is too put the disc inside
the console and turning it off and then turning it on all of the normal methodes doesnt work (powering on the console pressing eject and then reset)

most of the time the console shows the ps2 logo then shows a black screen and stays there also the reset and eject buttons dont work when this happens

please help me

Hehe, you are experiencing not a fully 100% solution for the V9. I experienced these same things on the 1.31 I installed on the Jap SCPH-50000. It's not fully stable nor 100% complete. That's probably why they are working on V1.32, they must realize this.

Don't let anyone come in here and tell you it's your install.

For once I disagree with Precisionmods - he's overstating the problem.
On the 50000 and 50003 that we have, Messiah 2 is fully stable save for what I say below.

There is a published minor bug whereby DVD-R has to be booted from Standby rather than by normal Eject or Reset tap.

So what yu've described is well known to those who have been following the Messiah 2 story.

Yes I have had this as well. I wouldnt call it a big problem. Just re write the booting method procedure to always start from standby with the disc in. No big deal really. I still prefer mes2 to others.
But as you say they will probaly fix it for 132.

WE RESELLERS ARE NOW ON A DEADEND CAUSE OF THIS. ARE WE FORCE BY MESIAH TEAM TO BUY ANOTHER BRANDS? YOU TELL ME CHARLIE.

I have been emailed you 3 times all ready asking for another batch of messiah2 and you havent answered me.

When is the famous PLUS gonna come out?

Its gonna be Christmas and MESSIAH TEAM looks like its having a vacation or something.

When you go back to all the messing about the customer used to go through using the NEO 2, is it really that much effort to put the disc in and put the PS2 in standby before booting. I have explained this to people and none have had a problem with this method.Just my opinion.

Sorry I've not been about much. When I have been I've been reporting in this forum and others on the v9 BIOS difficulties quite honestly and openly.

Fact is I don't want to supply Messiah 2 to anyone, especially in bulk, if there is a 50/50 chance on v9 that the customer has the BIOS that doesn't work. Even if that reduces my Christmas money(!).

When the Messiah development team have cracked the problem, I'll tell you all straight away and will then be happy to resume shipments.

If you do insist on buying v1.31 in the above circumstances, then I'll be happy to supply you.

Well, when are they gonna "cracked" the problem? October of 2004?
They should´ve fixed this when 50000 series apeared on the first place.

i have just got one and now i find out it dont work waste of money come charlie what the score will it or won't and what the bio that do
