v7 PS2 stopped booting and kept on making noises.

So I changed the azimuth a bit and it started to boot up fine, but after a while the noise kept on coming back, a kind of grinding sound.

I cleaned the whole laser mechanism (which was pretty dusty) and oiled it again. Now everything seems fine.

Anyone ever had any problems like this?
