V7 with HD7 Laser

As you can see, i have a v7 with a HD7 laser. What motherboard? R type or C type?

You have a R type. The HD7 was made by Sanyo which makes the R laser. If it breaks you will have to replace it with that particular kind of laser. Although I have heard the R type works. I hope this helps.

It was Sony who made the 400C laser.

Thats what i thought but i never saw anywhere the specificly HD7 is the R type... THanks alot.
