I got a V7 console and its dead. It's a stock unit, never chipped, but somehow got a mangled ribbon cable. I replaced the ribbon cable and when I plug it in nothing happens. The switch is unresponsive. No LEDs turn on, eject/reset does nothing. Does anyone have any ideas as to what could be wrong with this unit? Any ideas would be greatly appriciated. I am assuming that something is blown, but I am not sure on which side of the world it is from, the PS2 side or the switch side.
