v5 no power at all

hi there i chipped a v5 ps2 with a messia a few years ago recently it has a problem with the reset/eject cable so i swapped the cable over from another version 5 ps2 when i switched it on the lights on the reset/eject came on for a few seconds then went off now there is no power to the ps2 at all i have tested all the fuses for cotinuity they seem ok i have also tested the power supply in another ps2 thats fine to ????

Are you sure the ribbon cable is connectly plugged in? Check whether or not it's damaged..

yes Blessed the eject/reset cable is a perfect one and it its plugged fully in

on testing again it could be the ps1 fuse

yes it seems like the ps1 fuse would that cause no power to the ps2

i still can't figure out what did it :crazy:
