Oh yeah, and if its a fuse, where do I get one? Does DigiKey sell them? I don't have any spare ps2 boards at the moment to swipe one off of.
Bridge it! I did it on my ps1 ages ago and no more problems. But there is as always a risk factor. Since my ps2 was blown byt a 3rd party I only buy 1st party for ps2.
I'd much rather put the actual fuse in. I want to fix this right, because I'm going to slap a Duo2SE in it and sell it. I just have to figure out which fuse is bad.
I think that is what blew it. A 3rd party controller. This was my friends ps2. Other than the vibration not working, this thing is mint.
I am having the same problem with a V9. I can't use my wireless control, and my Dual Shock does not vibrate. Is a fuse the culprit? what fuse would cause this?
Thanks
I'm not positive that it is a fuse, but that would be my guess. Anybody with any info on which fuse it is, please respond. Thanks!
Here is a pic of my version 4 fuses. Any Ideas which one would be bad? Whats the best way to tell if they are bad? Multimeter?
UPDATE
My mobo is a GH-010. I found the culprit. ps9, S7, 0.7A fuse gives no reading on the multimeter. Now it's just a matter of finding a damn replacement! Hope DigiKey has them!
Good luck to you. I wonder if my V9 uses the same fuse?
