Its hard to tell from the pics you posted, but I think v13 has board rev. GH-032-13.
Compare your board with this to find out if its a v13.

To me it look like I got a new kind of mb with the V13 protection parts on top of mb. I just want to be sure. I already installed a Matrix Infinity and it work fine.Originally Posted by strakn
no, your board is not v13. it's easy to tell from the second picture.
I agree with wmb88, its not v13, in the area marked TH3000 sony have put a heap of components to fix the v12 problem, your board does not have this so does not have protection, install subzero or summ0ne or comsoft fix.
wat model number does the V13 have

I really think this mb got the Sonys repair parts on top of board. Should we call this V13B or V14?
very interesting, you could be right
yes, very interesting. it could be another revision of m/board which we might call it v13b or v14. but from the look of it, same major components are used; 4xtransistors, 2xIC's, and 1x5pins transistor pack. have you checked the bios revision and installed any modchip?
I did not check the bios. I installed a Matrix Infinity and it works fine.Originally Posted by wmb88
