I know that the wide laser (SPU3170) in a V12 can be replaced by the small laser (PVR802)
You need to replace the full laser block incl. motor.
No lenschanger program needed to be used I read.
The common laser protections in the V12 are:
wide laser:
Summone fix on tracking and focus coils, because a fix which monitor the mechacon point (K), does not work.
small laser:
Slimfix V3 or V4, these fixes will monitor the mechacon crash, and mute the power to the coils after 50ms.
But if I replace the wide laser, by a small laser, can I then just use the slimfix V3/V4 laserprotection ?
Or do I need to use the Summone fix ?
