hey guys, wondering if you all can help me or have this similar problem...My PS2 will sometimes glitch out with the sound and either make a screeching/echo type sound or cut out all the bgm/voices altogether. I have a V5 with a Magic 2 inside, and I only noticed this when i got a copied DVD movie that wouldn't boot and tried to play it....you guys think i burnt out the chip? if not, what do you think it is?

    I have a SCPH-30001R if that helps a little....

IIRC, your CLK line isn't routed properly. Try using a twisted pair wire, one of the two wires going to ground (both sides), the other going to CLK.

    HTH.
