Just post the SCPH and maybe the datecode and we know it + you will know it for sure then, too.
and I wondered how to use a USB controller on it (dual stick, 16 button, same as official PS controllers),
Not at all, since they do not support USB-Game-PADs.
You know,... Sony want to make money with PS2-Controllers, beeing them original from Sony, or licenced by Sony.
or which games support them if it's possible at all.
No games support that at all.
It probably would be possible to write a driver, which could be 'hooked In-Game' much the same way as OPL does it for the CDVD&FS-Driver, or the VMC-Support.
Then again, if it wasn't possible, what on earth the USB ports are for?
EyeToy (Camera), SingStar/Socom (Microphone), TimeCrisis/RE Dead Aim/etc. (LightGun), Unreal Tournament/PS2-Linux/etc. (Mouse&Keyboard), Gran Tourismo 4 (USB-Storage-Device).
