He shouldn't be ratted out because he DID come up with the idea of the universal ps2... No one rat on the guy who make the ps2 exploit or anyone else who created apps...of couse I know that these guys does it for informational purposes only...

I think we should just leave him alone...

ok i am an avid ebayer and he is saying that this is a brand new ps2 which it is not... If someone not knowing what he has done buys this and it is broken then sony will not fix it...oh and

He got 290 out of it. The person who bought it could have got it for less if they knew about these kinds of sites, but I really wouldn't say this person got *RIPPED OFF*. If I was a noob to the whole idea of modchips playing copies, and after paying 50 bucks per game on my ps2. Then, I search around Ebay, and find out I can play copied games using my dvd burner. I'd jump on the opportunity, and spend more than that really.

selling chipped ps2's is against ebay's rules, but if u can get around it .. gd 4 u

there are sites selling them more than that , but there are also some selling them for less . if the people bidding on them are not smart enough to do a simple search to find a good price for 1 then who cares if they pay 1000 for it .

seriously. this happens all the time with all kinds of equipment on ebay and around the world. Walmart takes advantage of people by selling USB cables for 30 dollars when you can get them online for 2$. But that's just how it goes. Un-Resourcefull people have to get their stuff from somewhere. so let's just continue to take care of our own. that's why it's the scene.

Then again, i just thought about something. A person that makes a salary of over 60 thousand a year. To them, the hours they would put into learning to mod one and actually doing it would definately not be worth their 30$ dollar an hour and up time. they would rather just pay a little extra.
