More information needed.
I can use hdloader to play my games through hd. We need more information about how he is using this "program."
well, since you can't write to the chip in the PS2, the only way to play a direct boot backup is a modchip. He probably is talking about hdloader or a method of swapping backup games, cdloader or the like. In either case, he didn't program anything. ><
ya... like an exploited cdlaoder or the cogswap :-p xD
sounds like he's full of sh*t.... like he's just trying to act like he knows what he's talking about

lol! u need a friend ps2 to install the exploit :-p
then u can just a slidecard or knife method to swap! ^_^
You need a friend with a modchip or some type of swap method to install the exploit via cd-r. Then you can use the memory card with the original psx game.Originally Posted by Allenylc
you can also just make a slidecard, i don't recommend them, but they seem to work, i posted a picture in this thread here... hope it helps, and good luck

Yeah, I'm aware of the existance of the swapcard. I don't recommend it though. But it's your PS2. =)Originally Posted by pyro_freak8
there's also a way to make an open/close switch that bypasses the reset button, i haven't done it so i don't know how reliable it is but there is a post on it around here somewhere and it might be worth looking at...
