Good luck. I have been fighting the same problem. The last advise I was given was to put in a newer chip.
does it go to the RED SCREEN OF DEATH?.. i don't know if the apple2's combat the double protection some games have, they might shut off before the game tells the ps2 to recheck it's authenticity.
you need a better chip
Is it the chip or could it be the speed at which the backup disc was created?Quote:

well the speed could be a problem but from experience i can tell you that the chip you are using is unreliable. i had 85 different games (backups) and only five work. i copy all my backups at 2x, but when i put the messiah chip in all the games work. so beleive me get rid of that head ache of a chip and upgrade.
So would the concenus be that I should upgrade to a new chip such as Magic 5 and tht the Apple chips are not the best choice?
and yes, I did get a RSD after the logo.
But I've heard rumors of how I can press the eject button at the "Kicking Screen" and then press eject to close the tray after.
This will somehow bypass it.
ans I am unable to try this because i gave the game to my friend and I can't get another copy.
Get an Apple Pro.
ejecting on kicking screen can bypass it i testid it on apple on v7 machine
come on now any apple sucks
