Tekken 5 : freezes

my tekken 5 backup just freezes ate the first screen which says namco in red writing.

can you tell me how to fix this.
the game is ntsc my ps2 is PAL do i need to change it to PAL.
(my ps2 is modded)

or can you tell what mode i should set it to to make it work.

oh and how do you change games from ntsc to PAL.

well of course you will have to patch it to pal but as for the scipping i dont knwo

search on google...there are many programs that will convert from ntsc-pal or vice-versa.

i cant find one can you point me in th right direction please i can only find pal to ntsc patcher

This is not from NTSC to PAL problem .This is from your DVD R or writing speed problem ...

had this too, and its 100% sure a bad burn.

my copy works now if the ps2 stands upright.
if that doesnt helps u, burn again.

If u got a good chip it dosnt matter if pal or ntsc.
I got matrix infinity and it runs both just fine.
Its a burn problem 99% sure.

the only chip that i know of that required you to convert pal to nstc was the neo and i think the first magic. and that caused the screen to roll and not freeze.
your freezing comes from copying to fast try your burn at 2x if youy are already its your media.

i'v not burnt it to media i'v just put the iso directly onto the ps2 hdd.

could it be a mode problem. i have tried all of them, and in different combinations.
