    Default Switching Lasers? – 04-11-2003,11:26 PM
    Is it possible? I have a v5 w/ a pretty worn out laser and want to replace it w/ a like new v4 laser. If it matters the v5 is scph 30001R and the v4 is scph 30001 u2. I just want to trader the laser itself no cd tray or anything since it has diff hookups than my ps2. Can I do it? If so how do I remove the laser from the cd rom unit? Thanks

    The version 4 and 5 lasers are NOT interchangable.
