    First of all,...
What is the SCPH-Number of the PS2 you wanna mod?

Try the SIO-EE-Mod, if you want to develop, or play with Sony-Tools to "remote-control" your PS2 a bit from PC.
    PS2 V7/DMS3 V2 (FW:2.4b7); Seagate Baracuda 200GB
    PS2 V7/CC1.0 (FW:34 hacked v2 BM:2.1.6); Maxtor DiamondMAX9 PLUS 160GB
    PS2 SCPH-30004R; NoMod+NoLaser

    3xSony BBA
    3xSony MC 8MB
    MAX/Datel 16MB with Boot-CD
    MAX/Datel 32MB&64MB

I have seen an internal multi-tap integration thread around hear somewhere.
There has also also been a USB- IDE adapter integration thread here. That way your HDD doesn't need to be removed to add new games.
I have done neither, but the threads should be here somewhere. The MC activity light mod I believe is here also.
One thing I will do in the future is figure out how to get a bigger, quieter, higher CFM fan inside my Fat PS2.
You could also put LEDs that shine through the front vent holes.

@cannouu & files21- What are your bluetooth receiver's purpose? Are you using it on a hacked logitech, or singstar mic?

P.S. You can check out my ghetto external mods linked in my signature. External USB hub, Mem card reader, Multi-tap and HDD fan.

hey thanks for the suggestions, the multitap thing seems very intresting but i don't think i can still fit it inside the case because its already filled with two circuit boards, the wireless controller reciever, and the wireless keyboard reciever. i don't really want to put much lights to make my case look good cause i integrated lights on the vent to show the wireless controller connectivity, keyboard connectivity, and 4 extra leds ready to be a hard drive activity led or net activity mod.

im not really intrested in the sio-ee-mod because i jus want it to be a stand alone ps2, i want it to look stock, and my hard drive is already good because i just use hdloader to load the games. but i jus had an idea about somehow soldering a flash drive or a usb card reader onto the inside part of the memory card slot, and then adding a little slot where i can insert a sd card or comact flash card.

    ill get my pictures up
