Strange Problem on my 50001

Hi its my first post in this helpfull forum. Excuse my poor english i from Argentine.
Recently i buy a ps2 fat v9 50001 model whith his network adapter. I installed hdloader 0.8c ntsc. Im sucesfully run Guitar Hero World Tour and Rocband.
But i try to conect my wireless drums and it doesnt work well. When i do that it random turn on/off. If i conect that to my 77001 slim ps2 works great but not in the fat.
Im believe that is a problem with the voltage alimentation on the usb ports on the 50001 model. Indeed i believe that many of the problems with usbadvance that i read for the threads are related to this issue.
My ps2 came with a mars pro 603 modchip. can i disconect securely it to try if the usb ports send the voltage correctly? is there a way to do that without take completely out? like disconeccting the vcc alimentation to the chip? or a way to conect mi drum receriver to the joysticks ports? thank u all!

it could be that your ps2 fat is leeching power some were or its just a buggy version of the software your using.

Try to start the games without the special controller and plug them in when you are in the main screen of the game.

If this won't help maybe the modchip is affecting the usb ports.

For deactiving the chip or unsoldering the power for the chip you should look at the manual or soldering diagrams of the chip.
