sony frv laptop

Hi,
I recently purchased a sony FRV-27 laptop which comes with a 1x DVD burner, and I was wondering if anyone has had any experience backing up PS2 games, and if I should run into any difficulties if attempting to do so. Also, does anyone know what brand my DVD-R may be? Thanks in advance to anyone having any information pertaining to my post.

u shouldnt run into any problems (lol,i doubt sony has put a self destruct in if u attempt to copy ps2 games)

as for which writer u have look in device manager should tell u there
