Would the grounded tip iron from radio shack do the trick? It's a 15W so no worries about that...but I have a CC2.0 and am having trouble with the HA point which solders directly onto the chip leg...I've been using an old iron on a messed up PS2 mobo I found at a garage sale and bought for $5 to practice on. Can anyone post up a step by step tut with pics on how to solder directly onto the CD/DVD controller chip legs? I've been placing my iron tip on the top of the leg and just holding the solder on the vertical length of the leg and having a little melt onto it...it will occasionally slip and make a bridge though
I've heard from a few people that taking a desoldering bulb and heating up the solder will remove it completely, will this work? If not, are there any other ways to remove a bridge?
    Thanks,
    -P3nnyw1se
