SOCOM 2- beta test requests

hey just thought i'd let everyone know-
I got an email from sony to apply for the beta test of SOCOM 2
it went on to say that the people who were sent this were selected because they had a net adaptor and interest for being a tester as indicated by their registration through www.shape.us.playstation.com
no details as to when or if you would actually get the game, though...
anyone else get this?
