SMS CD-R Help!

I am currently using SMS mediaplayer to play my .avi videos. I followed the instructions from the FAQS on SMS main site. I then load SMS mediaplayer from LaunchELF and put in the disc and the error "illegal disc" comes up. What am I doing wrong?

The easy answer is that you burnt the CD wrong. And, since I don't use CDs with SMS, I can't really help.

Hey, I'm just trying to stear you in the right direction. I honestly can't help since I've not burnt a UMCDR or whatever the replacement format is called.

u need a program called CDExplorer.exe but i cant find it every link i find goes to the same dead site

i have the program. i put my avi file in it and then it extracts a .bin and .cue file. i burn the .cue file using dao mode, play it in sms media player and i get an error.
