i have a V12 PS2 with the H20 chip in it with the laser fix on the hip added. its been working fine for 10 months but lately it has been loosing sound about 10 minutes into a game. the sound will eventually return, but the game plays as normal, no shuddering or anything, its like someone has pressed mute on the tv.
turn it off and back on and sound returns. anyone know why this would happen??
its not the cords, wiggle them and nothing happens. the PS2 is placed on a wooden table when it is being used.
the sound goes no matter what DVD you are playing at the time.

double check all the wiring - you might have a loose wire. failing that remove the chip and see if the sound returns on originals.
