hi i was just wondering wat model number is wat version
like V12 onwardz
all i know is SCPH-7XXXX is rather be V12 V13 V14 etc
i was wondering if someone kindly put up all the model number for all V12 V13 V14 etc etc
and if they could provide me with the fix needed for each of the model number
for example
SCPH-7XXXX = V12 (need a subzero fix etc)
or SCPH-7XXXX = V13 (no fix needed)
etc etc
thank you guyz alot
it would be realli helpful because i cant keep up with all the version sony is producing
is it true that slim line is up to V16 already soooo fast!!

scph 7XXXX = v12 or v13 - fix needed for v12, not v13 (i use subzero)
scph 75XXX = v14/v15 - no fix needed
as far as i know there's no definite way of telling if it's a v12 or v13 without opening it up - thought the a/b after the model number meant 12/13 but i've just checked the last v12 i chipped and it's a 'b'.
if it has the warranty sticker on the bottom of the case, it's most likely a V13 or above.

i use the subzero fix for both lasers, haven't had a problem with one since i started using it.
the v12 has a section with printed text, on the bottom right of the diagram below. the v13 has extra components there, or sometimes has holes going through the board, with the components on the other side.
Also, on the V13s the "L2" point as in this diagram is missing.

not sure about motherboard numbers as there are so many different ones.
