Hey my friend is thinking of buying a few imported games but doesn't want a chip or have any use for a chip really so i suggested the slide card. i was just wondering if it supports DVD9 games or not, im sure it does since it just tricks ur ps2 into thinking its a US game mainly but just making sure

The slide forces your tray to come out...soon, this would cause it to jam and it will be impossible to fix those...what do you call it?? those *...yeah those turning wheel thing...If you don't wanna chip i suggest the flip top atleast since it seems to be the one with the littlest risk....hope this help

It does support DVD9 Discs, the swap disc has to have an equal, or a higher TOC size than each layer of the DVD9 though.
I wouldn't recommend the Slide card, it's better just to get a modchip and have a fully functional ps2 rather than making it complicated with a slide card...

invest in a DMS3, kid, you won't regret it.
-US Nintendo Wii unmodded (waiting for modchip and install)
    -US Playstation 2 v15 SCPH-77001 w/Crystal Chip Pro 2.0
-US V1.0 Xbox w/Xenium Ice and X2 custom BIOS

Well, buying a slide card is a huge waste, seeing as how we used to make our own slide card..
I suggest if he wants something like a slide card that he buy the swap magic or an AR disc and make his own card, that's if the price is lower.

For a half-assed solution, or if you insist on having a slide card, just make one. There were instructions on the internet, try Google.

If you want a "better" half-assed solution or are looking to waste money, get a flip-top.

If you want something RELIABLE that will boot 100% of your backups & imports, invest in a modchip.

I thought saving 15% on my car insurance was good but having my ps2 modded by N£TM£ÇH was way better!
